Chipolopolo winger Lubambo Musonda was on target on Wednesday as he helped his club Gandzasar to a 3-1 win over Pyunik in a Cup game.
The 19 year scored the second goal for his club as the Kapan based side advanced to the next round.
Lubambo, who featured for Zambia in the 3-0 loss to Egypt is being played in a new role as a right sided wing back in the team’s 3-5-2 formation.
Last weekend Lubambo again played in a similar position in a league match against his former team Ulisses.
Lubambo is following in the footsteps of Jacob, shinning at his club but ku national team-wala!
He is a gud player, no eception but he is needed at uder 23 for olympics
Our team selection is the one that makes our players not to perform. The combination and positioning matters.
Selection of players still a problem in zambia n the positioning of a player. Wen a professinal is called to the national team he is given a wrong position n wat do u expect? The player will fail to perfom.
Lubambo and chisamba they are psycologicaly affected at national team our useles coach dot give them 90 minutes to play so they dot hv interest to play 4 national team.
zamfoot please coment on mayuka injury how serious is it.
its a pathetic legue. i look at the standard of staduims and pitch. our averge players must start aiming high. not this
The next news we shall hear 4rm mayuka will b tht he has been axed. I conquer wit ba ngizo m yet 2 c that japan/zambia display again frm lubambo @ national level otherwize thrz nothin 2 write hme about @ da moment.
I think its too early to judge the boy. Hw many games has he played for the senior national team? About 5 n he has shined in 2 ie against Japan n Cape Verde. Let’s try to help the boy nurture his talent instead of rushing to utter words that ve a potential of demoralizing him. He’s only 19 mind you!
