Lubambo Musonda scored a cracker for his team Gandzasar Kapan but it was only a consolation as his team went down 4 – 1 to Banants in the Armenian premier league.
With his team 3 – 0 down, the 21 year old speedy winger collected the ball deep in his own half on the right and he beat his marker as he cut in.

He then unleashed a shot with his left foot from outside the box which left the goalkeeper with no chance in the 66th minute.
The goal was reminiscent to the one he scored on his Chipolopolo debut agaubst Japan.

This was his first goal of the season in the four week old season.
He has played in all of his team’s games.
He will now head to Ndola to join the Chipolopolo camp ahead of the game against Kenya on Sunday.



What a goal…. best I’ve seen of a Zambian player in a very long time.
What is the point of calling up the professionals for the Kenya game. Lets save money and only call up local players for this game. No need to fly players half way around the world for a useless fixture.
This looks like a very weak league. One would be excused to think it’s a practice game.
