Lubambo bows out of UEFA Europa League at first hurdle

Lubambo Musonda’s journey in the UEFA Europa League ended at the first hurdle when his team Gandzasar Kapan of Armenia was comprehensively beaten 3 – 0 at home by Mladost to be knocked out on a 4 – 0 aggregate scoreline.

Gandzasar looked to be on-course when they only lost narrowly away in Monetenegro but they failed to up their game in the return game in the return match.

Once they conceded in the 67th minute it was difficulty match for Lubambo and team and they were punished further when they conceded two goals in injury time as they poured forward in search for the equalizer.

The 22 year old Zambian winger played both legs completing 90 minutes in each game.
