Twelve local players were part of the morning training session at Sunset Stadium as Zambia national soccer team started preparing for the back to back African Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique and Cape Verde.
Zesco United’s Nyambe Mulenga was the only player who missed the session at Sunset Stadium but the Chipolopolo centre-back is expected to report by Monday morning.Â
The local players had a double session as they trained also in the afternoon behind closed doors as the country still mourns the death of H.E. President Sata.
As from Monday, the foreign based players will start to trickle from their bases before the team’s planned departure for Maputo on Thursday most likely on chartered plane.
Chipolopolo Boys coach Honour Janza is likely to name two local players in his starting line up. Nyambe and most likely Bruce Musakanya will start although the Red Arrows’ winger must fend off competition from Eastern Europe based Lubambo Musonda.

That’s awesome
go chipolopolo go! We nid 2 beat the mambas
great
Faz should let the boys go by bus instead of wasting our money it will just take 6 to 7 hours. We don’t want a repeat of those rubbish travel arrangements
———–> @ The ( PERSONAL ASSISTANT ) -P.A.. I believe U ve been watching the Araingements of FAZ Football programs for so Looooooong. U think of ZAMBIAN Taxs Payers Money..hahahahaha..Errrm! -I believe taking a BUS will increase the Players tiedness to Mozambique..It is better to take a jet ..If,, I repeat, IF KAMBWILLI and HIS FA COACH –
Kalusha Bwalya-could come to a GREAT agreement to be perfectly arrainges the Jet..
Mr Kambwili is obviously quite busy at the moment and rely on him at the moment is not a good idea.Faz should just book a proper bus for them to avoid any unnecessary delays.
Lubambo got a red card yestarday at legue, now is it possible hm to play next game on national team
I think going wth a bus is more risk.go zed go
@ Peter Lubambo got a Red in their local league game and not CAF Intl competition. ..So he is okay to play for Zambia but will miss one game in the Israel League
