A locally assembled Chipolopolo Boys squad has grouped on the Copperbelt ahead of Wednesday’s All-Stars versus the Rest.
Aljosa Asanovic’s men will face two ‘The Rest’ sides, first a Copperbelt Select on Wednesday and a Midlands select later on.
With Mwenya Chipepo and Chisi Mbewe out in Tanzania for CAF A coaching courses, the Football Association of Zambia is expected to announce other coaches to take charge of the two sides.
Since his appointment, Asanovic has been scouting players from the local league ahead of the friendly matches against South Africa and Guinea later this month.
The Copper Bullets will face South Africa and Guinea in Paris, France with foreign based players expected to be available.
These fixtures are expected to help the technical bench prepare for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that are pencilled for June.
