Probable XIs and Formations
Zanaco v Gambian Air Force
Zanaco have arguably assembled the most expansive squad this season and coach Numba Mumamba can name two different match day teams.
Probable XI: Toaster Nsabata – Jimmy Nakena, Ziyo Tembo, George Chilufya, Zimiselini Moyo – Ernest Mbewe, Boyd Musonda, Tafadza Rusike, Charles Zulu – Martin Phiri, Maisha Chavda
Formation: 4-4-2
Numba favours starting with two strikers. It’s a close call between the combo Phiri and Maisha and the pair of Felix Nyainde and Chitiya Mususu.
In full backs areas Taonga Bwambya and Chongo Chirwa could start at the expense of Moyo and Nakena.
Congolese winger Guily Manziba could be a game changer off the bench.
Player to Watch: Rusike
The Zimbabwean midfielder is a box office signing and could be the one to watch.
He is grit and guile and has a sweet left foot and vision is superb.
He doesn’t shy away from a physical challenge.
New signings duo Maisha and Mususu are worth keeping in an eye on.

Chisamba Lungu might watch the second half.
JKU SC v Zesco United
The Zambian Champions sneaked into Zanzibar quietly.
Probable XI: Dieudonne Ntibahezwa -Fackson Kapumbu, Marcel Kalonda, Simon Silwimba, David Owino – Akumu Anthony Agay, Kondwani Mtonga, Enoch Sabumukama – Jackson Mwanza, Lazarus Kambole, Jesse Were
Formation: 4-3-3
Coach Tenant Chembo will go for attack against the minnows.
Jacob Banda, John Ching’andu and Winstone Kalengo might start.
Player to Watch: Lazarous Kambole
When Winstone Kalengo signed in Congo, he urged Zesco United management to hand Kambole the famed jersey no.10
And Kalengo was spot on as the former Konkola Mine Police striker became one of the key players for Zesco last season.
