Midweek football as it happened

Should Zesco United tumble to Kabwe Warriors, then Zanaco beats Napsa Stars, the bankers will therefore be crowned Champions this afternoon at Sunset Stadium as the two giants will be action in rescheduled league games.

Though the match will be played at Sunset Stadium, Zanaco is the away team in today’s fixture. The match will be live on Supersport.

After Zesco United’s shock defeat to Mufulira Wanderers on Sunday, the initiative has been handed to Numba Mumamba’s sides.

Zanaco is on 69 points after 30 games while Zesco having played a game less have 57 points. Second placed Nkana are 10 points clear of the Ndola but have played four more games .
