  1. That Zambian defence is too weak. It can’t contain the big, strong and fast running Egyptians, especially on the left and right backs. Like I said earlier on, it will be baptism of fire for the two small young lads.

  4. This zambian team selected is pathetic we are tired of all this marketing by kalu I just heard patson daka is at espanol in Spain for trials it’s obvious he will fail and kalu is the one behind it.

  5. Zambia conceded after a good run on the left by Egypt left Chepeshi chasing, square ball was not dealt with by central defenders which left Kennedy exposed

Zambia”s best chance falls to Chirwa on the edge of the box after a neat flick finds him free but he shoots just wide. Good play

  10. Imwe ba Zamfoot, do you have selective comment contributions on this platform. Not friendly to old and new visitors to the site I must say.

  11. ITS OK WE CAN BEAT THEM BY 6 GOALS LIKE GHANA DID TO THEM, IF GHANA CAN BEAT THEM 6-1 THEN CHIPPO WILL WIN TODAY 8-2 MARK MY WORDS

i saw that line up, i simply,’..what the he..ll is this?’. does it mean we dont have standout players in zed any more or ‘everything’ has gone wild in our country?

  16. This is pathetic, can’t conjure an attack, once they are pressed a little bit they start passing the ball backwards to K. Mweene

  17. Useless squad. I mentioned it experimenting defence when playing big guns of African football is suicidal. The coach is tempering with the squad. But he is doing so wrongly.

  18. there was no need to prepare for Mozambique using this match…let us respect high profile matches and play for pride..select players on merit…

let the U-23 find their own friendly, let the local players too be given a friendly of their level…
    pure mediocrity.

  19. Watched from 60 mins to end. Zambia looked good in possession, with one fault. Egypt pressing had the team playing with their backs to opposing goal 70% of the time, and a lack in mobility upfront with Mbesuma having to drop deep was killing the team. Despite that, I saw an awesome chance carved out for Sinkala who failed to convert. It seems all the goals came from the wings, which is on the fullbacks. Though, that number 4 played well mwe. That 3rd goal I blame on the central midfield because they didn’t cover the Centre. There were 2 Egyptian players by themselves. Our lack of options upfront and for the full backs is worrisome. Chapeshi despite some flashes is not mature enough. Sad that Chisamba and Lubambo were unable to make an impact, I can see maybe there subs was because of their inability to fallback and help the defense. Not a bad show from Zambia really. Defensive strengthening and team chemistry which will come with more practice.

    • We just do not have good players that is the truth. Just look at the number of players we have in Europe. If we were as good as we think we are, then we could have had more players in Europe by now, especially from 2012 when we won AFCON. Even exporting players to SA has become an issue despite local games being beamed live. Zambian players are playing in countries like Gabon, Mozambique, India, Vietnam etc. What next? Fiji, Cambodia, Pakistani kawa
Our level is that of Kenya, Malawi, Swaziland, Fiji, Somalia, Zanzibar, India, Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia

We are nothing but sparring partners for the big guns

Hate me if you want the fact as at now we very useless

  20. Thank you Pharaohs for teaching us good football lessons. We have learnt that we should select players on merit, train them properly. To start with,we should have a good coach. Can youl second a nutritionist, physical trainer and a coach for our frail and malnourished team.

  21. zambia are not learning anything from friendlies. We are simply useless at present and not improving. too many players who cant pass a ball to a team mate 10 yards away this is embarrassing at this level. We are too timid lack passion and energy going forward. Kalaba Is the only creative player we have. We lack quality and the two young defender cant do the basic right. Its been 4 years since we won the CAN and every year standards has been dropping. We are now so far away from qualifying for the world cup then we ever has been. We are becoming a pushover and we are in danger of not getting good friendly against tougher opposition because we are not bring them anything. I realised about zambian football back in the early 90’s boy we were excellent and passionate we could get a result anywhere we want and teams came to zambia knowing they will go home empty handed. we had players who can pass, shoot, defend and dribble past opponents. What has happened to us? where is the skillful players wheres the exciting characters? wheres the passion? wheres taking responsibilty on a football pitch gone? Wheres the fast football of 4 years ago moving the ball quicker deadly on a counter attack. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU ZAMBIA??/

  22. Does it mean that Zambia has run out of quality players? These lads Luandamina is insisting on using lack exposure. Mbesuma is a seasonal player; he can impress today, and disappoint forever! I am happy Egypt has exposed this incompetence so that next time we can become more serious. Our football levels have gone down not because we have no quality players, but due to the fact that FAZ is stinking with corruption. With this team, Ghana can give us an eight nill bashing. Patson Daka, Chirwa, Mkandawire, Chipeshi, Mfune, malama, musekwa; I think we have better players than this bunch. Good night

  23. Butti why are people surprised or angry? From the day the team was announced we all knew the result would not be in our favor. We don’t have reliable fullbacks, we are lacking an option to Mbesuma and Kalengo.

  24. Zambian players are not as physical as west African players this is the main reason why they cant perform. This has nothing to do with the coach its just that Zambian players are below par. Even Chelsea coach Mourino cant do anything with Zambia because the players are below par. Point Blank Full Stop.

  25. Apa tapali ifya kupita mu bali iyo. The current coach is a fool period. The players have become very useless, but then we have no creditable replacements. Revolving around the same players ninshi kupwa. This is everywhere even in politics

Our football has been a titanic that has now reached the bottom of lake Mweru wantipa, and it will take the largest crane to uplift the Zambian titanic from this lake

    Na tusanguka fye amakula, period

  27. @ justice lukanga kafusha kkkkkkkk, you break my ribs, yaba! I blame the coach for being narrow minded in the selection of players. Why were Munthali, Rodger Kola, Evans Kangwa, Mbola e.t.c not selected. I do not agree with the notion that we do not have other options upfront. Poor selection. We need an expatriate coach who could bring urgency into the team. Ati 3 bobo. kkkkkkkkkkk
