South Africa-based Zambia U17 National Team striker Lineker Mbesuma has arrived in the country in time for camp as the team prepares itself for the 2023 Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Mbesuma has been named in the All Stars squad that will face The Rest in a match at Nkoloma Stadium on Tuesday.
Under-17 National Team coach Ian Bakala will lead his All-Stars team while Aaron Kawangu will lead The Rest team.
The Rest team will comprise players selected from the provinces by technical experts with a panel of legends and technical experts tasked with screening the candidates.
The Under-17 AFCON will be held from April 29-May 19 in Algeria with Zambia in Group B alongside Nigeria, Morocco, and South Africa.
