Zambian legends will have their first full training session on Tuesday morning at Lusaka’s Toyota Arena, formerly Barca Academy.
The training will see the almost full house go through their paces ahead of Thursday’s highly anticipated exhibition match.
Former Zambia captain Chris Katongo, James Chamanga, Kalililo Kakonje, Chintu Kampamba, Joseph Musonda, Chisamba Lungu, Hichani Himoonde, Felix Katongo, Francis Kasonde and Isaac Chansa are among players expected to be part of the session.
Others are Defender Nyambe Mulenga, Jonas Sakuwaha, Nathan Sinkala, Clifford Mulenga and Joshua Titima, South African based trio Davies Nkausu, Kennedy Mweene and Collins Mbesuma.
Thailand based Noah Chivuta and TP Mazembe legend Rainford Kalaba will also be part of the training this morning.
The match will see Chipolopolo legends coached by 1988 African footballer of the year, Kalusha Bwalya take on former FC Barcelona players led by World Cup winner Ronaldo de Asis Moreira popularly known as Ronaldinho.
Meanwhile Barcelona Legends coach Albert Llopis Ferrer will carry an eighteen member FC Barcelona Legends squad that will come to Zambia for the match.
Most notably Ronaldo de Asis Moreira popularly known as Ronaldinho, Holland legend Patrick Stephan Kluivert, and Argentine Javier Saviola.
The FC Barcelona Legends will also have an official training session on 24th of May open to the public just hours after jetting in.
Tickets for the match are currently on sale in all ShopRite stores countrywide via Computicketing.
The match is set for 25th of May, 2023 at the National Heroes Stadium, kick off -15:00 hrs, Gates will open at 10:00 hrs.
