Red Arrows forward Albert Kangwanda has continued to impress at the ongoing regional showpiece, 2023 COSAFA Championship.
The Former Kafue Celtic striker has two goals in the ongoing COSAFA Championship and is vying for the top goalscorers accolade alongside Fredrick Mulambia and Tshegofatso Mabasa of South Africa.
Kangwanda scored the winning goal against Comoros before starting the thrashing of Seychelles with a fine long range finish.
The left footed forward has been a tough customer for Zambia’s opponents at the tournament so far.
Kangwanda will have a chance to extend his tally this afternoon when Zambia take on South Africa in the semi-final at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.
He was the hero in the final last year as he scored the only goal of the game against Namibia.
Kangwanda’s spectacular extra time goal was enough to secure Zambia a sixth COSAFA Cup title.
Zambia are chasing an unprecedented seventh regional crown and Kangwanda could be a big part of achieving that.
