Lameck Banda in US Lecce squad to face Sassuolo

Chipolopolo winger Lameck Banda has been named in the US Lecce 24 member squad for tonight’s Serie A TIM match against Sassuolo.

Banda is among the players summoned by Coach Marco Baroni for today’s match against The Black and Greens.

Banda came off the bench last weekend to make his debut in the Serie A for US Lecce in a 2-1 defeat to Inter-Milan.

Banda replaced Italian forward Federico de Francesco in the 74th minute to play the last 16 minutes of the match at the Stadio Via del Mare.

The Zambian international was explosive on the wing and had a beautiful shot saved for a corner.

He will be looking to start from where he left off last weekend and help the Wolves to their first win of the season. 

Sassuolo won their last meeting with Lecce and the other three before that have ended in draws. 

The match will kick off at 20:45 at the Mapei Stadium – Cittá del tricolore in Reggio Emilia.
