Kopala derby: Power host Nkana in Kitwe derby

All roads will lead to Arthur Davies stadium in Kitwe on Saturday where Power Dynamos will host town rivals Nkana FC in a fixture initially scheduled for 28th September.

There is all to play for in the game apart from the bragging rights as the game will see the second and third placed teams locking horns in Zambia biggest local league fixture.

If form is anything to go by, Nkana go in the game as favorites bouyed by the emphatic 4 – 2 win over league leaders Zanaco.

The Aggrey Chiyangi coached side have also got the best form in the league in the last five games played.

Nkana have won all of their five games while Power Dynamos have only lost once in the last five outtings having been wired 4 – 0 by Zesco United.

However, Power Dynamos have a psychological edge going into the game having won in 2 – 1 in this same fixture last almost a year ago on 29th August, 2015.

Power also avoided defeat in the first leg earlier in the season when they pulled off a 1 – 1 draw away at Nkana stadium in Kitwe.

A win for Nkana will see them move to within two points of leaders Zanaco who are on 55 points while Power will hope to move to 49 points which will leave the a point adrift of second placed Nkana.
