Konkola Blades fight back to sink Zanaco

For Zanaco, the defeat leaves them fourth on three points after two matches, having surrendered the advantage despite scoring twice.
Mutale free-kick earns Power Dynamos victory
Power Dynamos returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory over Nchanga Rangers at Arthur Davies Stadium.
Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale scored the decisive goal in the 14th minute, with his free-kick finding its way past Nchanga Rangers goalkeeper Victor Chabu following an error from the visitors’ shot-stopper.
The early breakthrough proved enough for the defending champions, who managed to protect their lead and secure maximum points.
The victory lifts Power Dynamos to fifth place in Stream A with three points from two matches, level with Zanaco but behind the Bankers on goals scored.
Power will take encouragement from the response after losing their opening fixture, while the victory keeps them within touching distance of the leading sides.

With the top two positions currently representing the stream’s final play-off places and the bottom two falling in the relegation zone, the early standings underline the importance of consistency during the transitional campaign.
