Zesco United midfielder Kondwani has recovered from a knee injury has seen him stay on the sidelines since September, 2015.
Zesco United announced that the medial miniscus injury and is available to play for the Zambian super league champions.
“There is good news, though, with midfielder Kondwani Mtonga back in training following his recent recovery from a knee injury that has seen him miss Zesco’s opening three games in 2016,” Zesco United stated as when giving an update on the players in the treatment room.
Mtonga was injured in the Indian league pre-season when he was out on loan at NorthEast United FC which saw him miss the whole second edition of the Indian Super League.
Striker Humphrey Maseneko and Nyambe Mulenga are not yet ready for action.
Zesco United team physio Chuma Mwiinga said all other players are available for selection in the CAF Champions league game against Horoya AC of Guinea at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
