Roger Kola made the most of a chance to start a game for his Greek team when he netted the winner as Veria won 1 – 0 against Asteras Tripolis to open his goal scoring account in Greece.
Making only his fourth start in the 12 games has played for his club, Kola was on target in the 22nd minute to help his club move into 10th position on the log.
The 26 year old striker was substituted in the referee’s optional time as the coach looked to wind down the clock.
This was his first goal in the Greek super league.

How do you know he picks those kulas like chepeshi and patson coz if he does then he’s doing a poor business! I don’t recall poor selection of players in our national team during Renard or Beumelle’s time till these local coaches took over especially since Chicken George took over so I think that the local coaches are the main ones to blame for the poor team selection they are picking these days.

Living in a dream world. What performance? From which team, which league? Minnows. Cherishing the uncherishable. It always beats my imagination as to why non-performing players blow their horns. Objectively, we are not flooding here because PARADOX (Zambia) and MUMBI have been chased out from the Ghana site and we are reciprocating their kind gesture. We were pushing into their empty heads that we could be equally unpredictable and “uncouth” if the need be. Ask Paradox when was the last time he visited the Ghana site with his nonsense which we tolerated for a long, long time. A word to the wise is enough.

the newly appointed zifa president prominent business man fired coach calisto pasuwa after he picked players of his choice. the boss told him openly that only zifa has the right to pick players for national duty. the government asked him to reverse his silly decision. i am sure the minister of sport has right to ask kalu about this poor team selection.
That’s why I liked chichimba kambwila as minister of sports. You could see that he was serious about Zambian football and wanted it to progress. When there was a bad performance like the 1-1 draw our to Lesotho in the Brazil 2014 WCQ, he went to national TV and expressed his displeasure threating that Government would stop sponsorship if such pathetic results continue! We those kind of passionate soccer lovers in charge of Zambian football.
Do you know anything about FIFA regulations? No interference in the Football Administrations by the government. FA are to be independent run by the FAs. Several African countries attempting to do so have been pushed back with threatening sanctions. Do that & you quench to be at the world cup will never materialize (if it ever will).
