Kola nets a brace…Patson, Klings, Rally Bwalya, and Edward Chilufya on target

Roger Kola netted a brace while Patson Daka, Klings Kangwa, Edward Chilufya and Rally Bwalya scored a goal each for their respective clubs.

In Scotland, Zambian forward Fashion Sakala Jnr was in fine form on Sunday afternoon as he helped FC Rangers to a 2-0 win over Dundee United.

The Zambian international earned a penalty which resulted into the first goal before turning provider for the second goal scored by Manchester United on loan forward at Rangers Amad Diallo.

In South Africa, at the Lucas masterpieces Stadium, Gamphani Lungu set up Iqraam Rayners for Supersport United’s second goal in their 2-2 draw with Swallows.

At the Danie Craven Stadium, Friday Samu put in a full shift for Maritzburg United in their 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch.

At the FNB Stadium, Lazarus Kambole put in a 74 minute shift for Kaizer Chiefs in their 1-1 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns.

2012 AFCON winning goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was an unused substitute.

In Tanzania, Roger Kola netted a brace to help Azam FC to a 2-1 win over Kinondoni MC in a Tanzania Ligi Kuu Bara round of 22 clash.

Elsewhere, Rally Bwalya came from the bench to net a beautiful goal as Simba SC thrashed Ruvu Shooting 4-1.

Clatous Chota Chama was not involved in the match.

In USA, Aime Mabika missed Inter Miami’s 1-0 loss to Charlotte due to an injury.

Elsewhere, Frankie Musonda of Raith Rovers is on summer break following the closure the 2021/22 Scottish Championship. Rovers finished in 5th position outside the promotion places.
