Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa is set to stay in Israel despite interest from Bulgarian top flight side CSKA Sofia.
Kangwa’s agent Nir Karin has confirmed the contact from Sofia but says the player will stay in Israel.
Kangwa who was influential for the Chipolopolo Boys in their qualification journey to the 2025 AFCON has been put on the January transfer wishlist for the record 31 time Bulgarian top flight Champions.
However Karin believes the player will stay in Israel and push to have a great season with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
Kangwa joined Be’er Sheva four months ago penning a four-year deal with them completing his switch from Serbian champions, Red Star Belgrade.
“Klings is playing his best football in the last two years since he joined Be’er Sheva. He has a desire to win the championship with BS and have a big season in Israel. There is no desire to leave the group. All the more so since the only offer is from Bulgaria. BS is a top European club in many respects,” Karin said.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva have reportedly set the price tag for the Zambian international at €5,000,000 as he has become an important player for the club and is on contract until 2028.
In eleven games at Be’er Sheva he has scored two goals and assisted four in all Competitions.
