Chipolopolo midfielder dynamo, Klings Kangwa will today return to Russia as the Serbian champions Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) faces the Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg in a pre season friendly.
Kangwa who won the Arsenal Tula player of the year accolade, The top goalscorer of the season with 5 goals and the best assister for his six assists last month made a switch to Serbia from the Russian outfit.
Kangwa scored a last minute rocket goal last season against Zenit while at Arsenal Tula in a match which was one of his best performances of the season with a 2-1 scoreline, the goal was voted as the best of the month.
The diminutive midfielder returns with his new team Red Star Belgrade for the first time since his switch two months ago.
The ZamFoot Crew caught up with the midfield maestro in a short phone interview and he said he is eager to open his goal scoring account for his new team especially that he is playing with a team he has faced many times and scored one of his best goals against during his time in the Russian premier league.
Zenit St. Petersburg hosts Crvena Zvezda at 19:00hrs at the Fishy Stadium in Sochi.
