Russian based midfielder Klings Kangwa has joined camp ahead of the June 3rd 2022 AFCON qualifier.
Kangwa arrived in the country yesterday to take the number of foreign-based players in the squad so far to seven.
Kangwa has been in fine form in the Russian Gunners despite their unfortunate relegation. He scored five goals and managed six assists in 22 appearances in all competitions winning a number of man of the match accolades.
The Zambian midfield dynamo also completed the most dribbles this season in the Russian top flight 73/99 – 74%.
Meanwhile the Chipolopolo boys are off to Accra, Ghana for an international camp ahead of the Ivory Coast tussle in Yamoussoukro.
Aljosa Asanovic’s troops will be in Accra to acclimatize with West African conditions before flying to Yamoussoukro on June 1.
Zambia will host Comoros on June 7 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
