Klings Kangwa and Andrei Mostovoy were voted as the best players of the match as Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) lost 2-1 to Zenit St. Petersburg in Sochi, Russia.
It was Belgrade’s last pre season friendly before they begin the defense of their Serbian championship next weekend.
The Zambian international put an a good 84 minute shift on his return to Russia since his move to Serbia back in May.
The nimble footed midfielder was unveiled by the Serbian giants last month and has been handed the jersey number 20.
The Zambian international penned a 4 year contract with FK Crvena Zvezda from Russian outfit, Arsenal Tula.
Kangwa was an important player for Arsenal in the last two seasons having joined Tula in July 2019 for an estimated €250,000.
The 22-year old midfield genius is believed to have cost the Serbian giants around €800,000 (over K14 million).
