Klings Kangwa debuts for Hapoel Be’er Sheva 

Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa made his debut for his new club Hapoel Be’er Sheva on Thursday evening as the Israeli side faced off with Czech outfit Mladá Boleslav.

Kangwa came off the bench to replace Shay Elias in the 64th minute and put in a decent shift receiving a 6.7 rating from Flashscore.

Be’er Sheva came from a goal down to hold Boleslav 1-1 in the first leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round. 

Kangwa is not new to European elite Competitions having played in both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.

Kangwa recently penned a four-year deal with Be’er Sheva from Serbian champions, Red Star Belgrade. 

This is his second stint at the Israeli club after having spent the 2017/18 season at the club’s youth team where he scored 9 goals. 

Tomer Yosefi drew Be’er Sheva level in the 50th minute after Patrik Vydra had put the hosts in the lead from the penalty spot in the 39th minute. 

Former Power Dynamos captain Benson Sakala was a second half substitute for Boleslav.

The two teams will face off in the second leg next Thursday at the 8100 capacity Gradski Stadion Lovench. 

The winner between the two teams will face the winner between Paksi FC of Hungary and FK Mornar of Montenegro in the play off round.
