Klings Kangwa is already turning heads in Serbia as his two way brilliance is catching everybody’s attention.
Kangwa seems to have already established himself and adapted to life in Belgrade less than three months after joining Red Star.
The nimble footed midfielder joined the Serbian giants last month completing a switch from Russian side, Arsenal Tula penning a four year deal.
The 22-year-old midfield genius is believed to have cost the Serbian giants €800,000 (over K14 million).
“He is everywhere. Sometimes when we are on the field – I see him twice. Left, then right… Sometimes it’s like I’m playing with twins. He’s an amazing player, he helps us a lot and I’m glad he’s playing with me ,” teammate Aleksandar Katai told Mondo.rs in an interview.
The Zambian international is mostly at the top in terms of both defensive and offensive plays according to starts from the Serbian League in the opening three matches.
Kangwa participates in an average of 11.74 offensive actions per match, which is by far the best in Serbia among central midfielders.
Kangwa also has the best “successful offensive actions” (5.87), while he is third in the number of dribbles (4.89) and successful dribbles (3.91) per match.
He is fifth in the number of shots per match and sixth in the number of touches with the ball in the opponent’s penalty area, which sufficiently explains the first parameter.
He also leads in number of passes in the last third of the field (31.3 per match), crosses, third in the number of passes and correct passes.
The Happy Hearts product has managed a goal, an assist and played 247 minutes out of 270 minutes.
