A Brazilian player training with a Zambia Super League team

A Brazilian player has arrived in Zambia looking to seal a proposed move to a Zambia Super League side, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

The Brazilian player is already training with a Lusaka-based side with terms likely to be agreed upon soon.

Should the deal materialize the Brazilian will become the second player from the South American country to pen a deal in Zambia.

Midfielder Paulo Leomar was the first Brazilian to join a Zambia Super League side in 2017 when he penned a two-year contract with Elite Lusaka Dynamos.

Leomar helped Lusaka Dynamos register its first win of the season beating Red Arrows 3-1 on his debut.

The Zambia football season will kick off on Saturday 13th August with the K250, 000 rich Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity shield tie between League winners Red Arrows and ABSA Cup winners NAPSA Stars.
