After being sidelined for more than 5 months due to a ‘career threatening’ knee injury, Billy Mutale made his long awaited debut for Supersport United yesterday against Bloemfotein Celtic.
The former Power Dynamos centre back put up 90 minute shift for his new club and could have put his name on the score sheet but his header went inches wide.
Mutale left Power Dynamos mid last year to join Supersport on 3 year deal contract. He left the yellow shirted side in his injured state and he has been on sick bed and only came back to full training early this year.
His fellow former Power dynamos team mate Gamphani Jones Lungu played 85 minutes and was stretched off with an injury but luckily it is nothing serious.
His side won 2-1.

Patson Daka is a good stricker ;just give him a chance ; he is that good
This is good news about Mutale. Looks like Mbesuma will keep scoring goals until he is 40! He scored for Maccabi yesterday. He sure loves to play the beautiful game.
