Green Buffaloes Women’s coach Carol Kanyemba has attributed the team’s early elimination from the 2024 CAF Champions League qualifier| Cosafa.
The Lusaka based side won one match and suffered two defeats as they bowed out of the tournament in Malawi despite being the favourites.
“The attitude of the players in reacting to losing possession has been extremely bad,” Kanyemba has been quoted by Times of Zambia.
“They didn’t show the anger of wanting to win the game. It’s a disappointing result,” she added
It was a disappointing outing for the 2022 Champions.
With regional powerhouse Sundowns not participating, the Arackan Barracks based side were the bookmakers’ favourites.
The team will turn attention to the local league.
