Chipolopolo striker Kennedy Musonda scored the opener as Young Africans beat Dodoma to secure the title.
The Tanzanian Giants Yanga SC beat Dodoma 4-2 to secure their 29th Tanzanian League title with 2 games to go.
Musonda scored the opener while Mudathiri Abbas, Farid Mussa and Fiston Mayele scored the other goals for Yanga.
Musonda joined Yanga in January and has already won a major trophy in Tanzania.
The title winners have so far collected 74 points that cannot be reached by any other team in the league.
This is the second title for Yanga to win this season after having managed to clinch the Community Shield by beating Simba on August 13 last year at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
