Zambia U17 national team coach Chris Kaunda has name his final 21 man team that will participate in the Niger 2015 CAF U17 Championship.
Kaunda has maintained the core of the team that played in the qualifiers with Ngosa Sunzu being one of the few entrants.
Kaunda declared his team ready stating that his team has had adequate preparations despite only playing one international friendly against South Africa in the lead up to the finals.
“Our team has played more international games than any other team under FAZ, we have played Southampton, Italy, USA, Japan, Israel and other teams. So I am very happy with our preparations. Let me also thank the FAZ President and his administration for their efforts,” Kaunda said.
The U17 will be aiming for a semi-final berth to book a place at the Chile FIFA World Cup finals.
The team leaves for Niamey on Thursday 12th February ahead of their opening match against Guinea on Sunday 15th February at 1900hrs.
The junior team will only reach Niger less than 72hrs before they kickoff their campaign finding themselves in a similar predicament as the senior counterparts when they traveled for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The tournament will run from 15 February to 1 March, 2015.

Best of luck to the young bullets.

u speak the truth.
Quatations very important…where is your source, or on what fact are basing your statement??
Zambia are in an easy group, should easily qualify for the world cup. Scouts from top european academies come to this tournament
Just wondering, Zambia under 17 is leaving for Niger on 13 February and the first game for them will be on 15 February.South Africa under 17 is leaving on 7 February and their first game will be on 16 February. Are these two teams going to the same tournament? Surely one team is not serious at all, You just cant have this this kind of difference if You are all going to the same tournament.
i expressed the same concern but my comment but my comment was shot down.
Ask Kalusha why this is so
