Kaunda: I take the blame

Zambia U17 national team coach Chris Kaunda says he takes the blame for the team’s failure to make the semi-finals of the CAF U17 Junior championship.

“We were so determined to get to the World Cup. Zambia was rated among the top four teams and everyone is disappointed. I cannot blame the players, they did their best but it wasn’t just our time and it didn’t happen the way we planned it. I take the blame,” said Kaunda on arrival at Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda Tuesday.

Meanwhile, South Africa powered its way into the finals after overcoming favorites Nigeria.

  3. this nonsense “I take the blame” line is redundant coach. You want to say something with proper impact! let me help you, say “I have failed as such I resign” now that will have the desired impact.

To me I feel the problem is selections. There are beta players in our Zambian leagues. you are not wide in your selection.
