Former West Ham and Seville striker Fredric Kanoute has arrived in Zambia.
Kanoute will be in the country for a week and watch a number of games.
Kafue Celtic owner Lee Kawanu has invited the former Mali international striker.
Kanoute arrived in the country on Saturday morning and watched Celtic’s 2-0 win over Wonderful FC.
Kanoute brokered Patson Daka and Emmanuel Mwepu Euro moves to Austria.
He is expected to watch and scout for players.
On Wednesday’s Kanoute will watch Kafue Celtic’s junior side against Sporting Lusaka and on Thursday, the Malian will see the Zambia Under-20 friendly match against Kafue Celtic.
This is the second visit Kanoute has made to Zambia.
Last year, he watched the CAF Under-20 African Cup of Nations

Talent at Kafue Celtic!…? Maybe from under 20 National Team. Still the visit sbhould hv coordinated with Faz; set up a friendly between Cosafa bound squad vs Under 20. Fantastic opportunity to market the boys. However Kawanu shud be commended. He strikes me as a guy with a genuine interest in improving our game. Keep it up man.
Welcome tto Zambia Mr. Kanoute. Enjoy your stay.
