19 year old striker Gamphani Jones Lungu scored on his debut for Power Dynamos as they beat 10 man Red Arrows while Green Eagles recorded the biggest win of the day after beating KYSA by four goals to nil.
Gamphani ‘Gampy’ Lungu made the Power Dynamos match day squad for the first time today after administrative issues which were inhibiting him to feature for Abayellow were sorted out.
The former National Assembly talisman came on to replace Jimmy Ndhlovu in the second half with the match tied at nil all. Lungu scored the only goal of the game in the 84th minute as Power corrected maximum points against a ten man Red Arrows. Joseph Zimba was shown a red card the 29th minute after a receiving a second yellow in the 29th minute when he fouled Alex N’gonga.
In Choma, Aggrey Chiyangi’s Green Eagles registered the biggest win of the day after beating KYSA by four goals to nil.
Joshua Manongo put Eagles in the lead just after 20 minutes first from open play then from the penalty spot. Tapson Kaseba and Caesar Hakaluba chipped in with a goal each. The result ends Eagles three match winless streak.
In Chingola, Nasha Kaaya scored the only goal of the game as Nchanga Rangers beat Kitwe United by a lone goal and end their five game unbeaten run.
At Sunset, Nkwazi beat Nakambala leopards courtesy of Kalaba Chikwanda’s 15th minute strike.
In a later match National Assembly edged Napsa Stars via a 3-2 scoreline. In-form George Chaloba scored a brace for Assembly with Chite Mweshi netting the other one while Alex Mwamba netted both of the Pensioneers goals.
At Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Team Kopala recorded their first win of the seasonbeating New Monze Swallows by two goals to one.
Rahim Osumani scored a brace for Buildcon barely 20 minutes into the match while impressive young winger Joseph Mwandilila scored the Swallows goal.
