Kangwa on target in Israel and gets first half of the season player nomination

Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa scored his fourth goal of the season on Monday evening as Hapoel Be’er Sheva beat Beitar Jerusalem 4-1 to open a three point lead at the summit of the Israeli Premier League.

Kangwa opened the scoring in the 4th minute before Dan Bitton could double the lead 4 minutes later.

Helder Lopes missed a penalty in the 13th minute but it was not a big deal as Yoan Stoyanov scored the rebound to make it 3-0.

A minute into the second half Bitton completed his brace to put the game beyond Beitar Jerusalem.

Mayron George pulled one back for Jerusalem in the 77th minute but it was a little too late.

The win takes Hapoel Be’er Sheva to 30 points , three above Maccabi Tel Aviv. Kangwa has now made 8 goal involvements (4 goals and 4 assists )

Kangwa is enjoying some fine form in Israel in the first half of the season and has since been nominated for player of the first half of the season.
