Kangwa, Mbola hand Ra’anana a point

Hapoeal Ra’anana striker Evans Kangwa hit double figures on Saturday when he scored his 10th goal of the season in his team’s 1 – 1 draw away at Hapoel Haifa.

Kangwa was named in the starting line-up alongside country man Emmanuel Mbola and the two Zambians combined for the first goal of the game when Mbola threaded a cross from the left with Kangwa finish off with a header after his initial effort was saved by the keeper.

Both Kangwa and Mbola have started 24 games apiece out of the 25 league games with Mbola having played 90 minutes in all the games.

The 23 year old striker now stands third on the top scorers chart.

Ra’anana currently lie 4th on the log.

  1. These two (Mbola and Evan) deserve national team call-ups for our next World Cup Qualifiers. They’ve both shown consistency. Moreover, It would be exciting to see Ra’anana in the Europe league next season.

  3. I expect alot from this boy Kangwa. At this rate he will be out of israel to mainland Europe next season and make some real money. A strike-force of Kangwa, Kalengo and Mbesuma should case a few headaches for opposition defences. Before some bloggers say Mayuka allow him to have more game time and show more consistency before he is even considered for the national team.

  4. lets forget about mayuka he is finished u cant compare him with kangwa, we hv mbesuma, kalengo, kangwa, kalaba, chisamba, chansa & CK11. even in egypt to be a bench warmer?
