KAMANGA TO UNVEIL MICHO ON MONDAY AT BARCA ACADEMY

Football Association of Zambia, FAZ President Andrew Kamanga will unveil newly appointed Chipolopolo Boys coach Micho this afternoon at Lusaka’s Barca Academy at 14:30.

Micho is expected to sign a 2-year deal.

The Serbian coach’s first engagement could be the CHAN tournament.

Micho arrived in the country last week and over the weekend he watched the match between Napsa Stars and Lusaka Dynamos at Woodlands Stadium.

While the government has pledged $10, 000 for his salary, FAZ has said add an extra $15, 000.

The former Zamalek and Orlando Pirates coach will then try to navigate past Algeria and Zimbabwe in the Cameroon 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

Zambia is yet to pick up a point after matchday 2.

Thereafter there will be World Cup qualifiers where the 2012 African Champions have been paired with Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, and Mauritania.
