Incumbent Andrew Kamanga retained his FAZ President seat on Saturday after he beat his challenger Emmanuel Munaile at the Elective Annual General Meeting of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) held at the Fairmount Hotel in Livingstone.
Kamanga collected 57 votes, while his only opponent, former Chipolopolo Boys player Emmanuel Munaile managed 29 votes.
The elections were originally scheduled to take place in March last year but after the Coronavirus epidemic and court cases, it was refreshing to finally see the Elective AGM taking place.
Former Zesco United Chief Executive Officer, Justin Mumba was voted in as the Vice President collecting 55 votes while his closest rival Gideon Mwenya only managed 31 votes while Lunga Mandona failed to collect any vote.
Meanwhile, Green Buffaloes Women’s football club President, Col Priscilla Katoba emerged as the winner of the National Women’s representative collecting a resounding 67 votes with her closest challenger the incumbent Brenda Kunda managing only 7 points.
KYSA boss Mwansa Hildah Mutangama collected 6 votes, Nelly Miamba had 4 votes while Kunda Bowa could only manage 2 votes.

Useless faz commente, football in Zambia will never improve as long as you put people without the knowledge of football
Jokes as usual. Doctored elections by people who have set us back 20 years in football. More comedy to come
Congratulations AK
This is utter rubbish. Kamanga has failed yet is voted again.
