Striker Winstone Kalengo completed a successful 2015 season on a high walking away with three awards at the Zesco United awards gala on Friday evening.
Kalengo who has been instrumental for the Zambia national team in the CHAN, Africa Cup and World Cup qualifiers having scored crucial goals in the three competitions walked away with the prestigious player of the year award.
With 18 goals to his name, the 30 year old striker also got the golden boot award and was also awarded the player of players award after being voted for by his colleagues.
Clatous Chama, the league’s highest scoring midfielder with eight goals deservedly got the most valuable player award while captain Jacob Banda, David Odhiambo and Mwape Mwelwa all walked away with medals.
Kenyan defender Odhiambo was however not available to receive his award which Kalengo had previously dominated as he is away with his national team preparing for the CECAFA tournament.
Zesco United were crowned Champions for a second year running at the end of the 2015 season.

Yes I gree with those who are saying he should stay at zesco united should increase his wages and he can make name at continental level
