Nkana FC have booked their place in the inaugural Tati River Cup final after a resounding 3-0 victory over Tafic FC in the first semi-final at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown.
Kalampa started brightly and took control of the contest, with Francis Bubu Mutalange breaking the deadlock on the stroke of half-time to give Nkana a 1-0 lead at the interval.
Tafic looked to find a way back after the restart, but Nkana remained composed and continued to threaten in the final third.
Captain Lazarous Kambole doubled Kalampa’s advantage in the 75th minute, putting Elijah Tana’s side firmly in control.
Nkana then put the result beyond doubt seven minutes later when defender Leonard Makonga found the back of the net in the 83rd minute to complete a convincing 3-0 victory.
The result sees Kalampa advance to the Tati River Cup final, where they will face either Tonota FC or Township Rollers, who meet in the second semi-final.
