Chipolopolo captain Rainford Kalaba has been ruled out of Sunday’s friendly match between Zambia and Egypt.
Kalaba was not part of the team that touched down this morning in Dubai at the Dubai International Airport at 06:15 hours local time as he is reported to have a family bereavement.
The four Power Dynamos players who were not released by the club did not make the trip to Dubai as well.
Lubambo Musonda who plays in Armenia will join the squad later today.
19 players made the trip for the friendly which will be played on Sunday.

Zambia’s Chipolopolo Arrive in Dubai for Egypt Friendly
FAZ media reports that Chipolopolo has arrived in Dubai enroute to Abu Dhabi for Sunday’s international friendly match against Egypt.

The Zambia National soccer team has safely arrived in the United Arab Emirates. Chipolopolo touched down at the Dubai International Airport at 06:15 hours local time. (04:15 Zambian time).From the airport the team took a ninty minutes drive by bus to the capital city, Abu Dhabi which is 150 kilometers north of Dubai City.
The team has been accommodated at the five star Grand Millenium Hotel which is in the central business district of the capital.
Chipolopolo are in the middle east for an international friendly match against Egypt on Sunday October 11.
A total of 18 players have made the trip to the Emirates.
Lubambo Musonda is expected to join the team by the end of the day. Skipper Rainford Kalaba did not make the trip as he has been excused from camp to give jim time to attend the funeral of his grand father in Mufulira.
