Zambian gaffer Kelvin Kaindu’s 9 months and 6 days unbeaten run came to an end last Saturday. Kaindu’s Hardrock side suffered their first loss of the season.
CAPS United extended their winning run after beating Hardrock 2-0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Matchday 4 encounter played at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
The Harare giants got their goals from Ishmael Wadi in the 4th minute before super-sub Allen Mukombedzi sealed the victory in the 85th minute.
Prior to the game, Kaindu had last lost a league match on 15 June 2025 when he was still at Highlanders.
On that day, Kaindu’s Highlanders lost 3-2 at Barbourfields, and this was followed by a 1-0 win against Manica Diamonds before drawing 0-0 with Chicken Inn, which led to his dismissal.
The Zambian gaffer then joined Dynamos in July and did not record a loss in the league.
At Hardrock FC he went three games unbeaten before the run was stopped by Takesure Chiragwi’s CAPS United.
