Zambia national women’s team coach Albert Kachinga has named his final squad of 18 players that will compete against Namibia in the 2016 African Women’s Championship first leg, first round qualification match on Saturday.
Kachinga led the U17 team women’s team to a historical World Cup appearance cut the team from the initial 28 called with six out of the seven U17 world cup finalists making the final team. Margret Belemu was axed.
Also missing is team captain Kabange Lupopo who has been excused owing to her commitments in Athletics.
Zambia play Namibia at Nkoloma stadium in a game that will kick off at 15:00hrs before playing the second leg on the weekend of 18th to 20th March.

Does this mean that our young lasses also have a serious league running? I can see almost everyone of them comes from some team somewhere. Where are the Mufulira Wanderers Queens? Or whatever they are called. I think they had a team around 1985, 86, 87.
