Kabwe Warriors snap up U17 goalie Chitambala

Zambia U17 National team goalkeeper Christo Chitambala has joined MTN Super League side Kabwe Warriors on a two year loan deal from Red Arrows.

He spent last season on loan at relegated Mines United. The Magnificent People’s team took to social media to confirm the development.

“Kabwe Warriors is pleased to announce the signing of Zambia Under 17 National Team goalkeeper Christo Chitambala from Red Arrows on a 2-year loan deal.”

Chitambala made his mark with Zambia at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup which was hosted in Qatar from November 3 to 27, 2025.

Before joining Warriors, he had a stint with Mines United last season.
