Zambia Super League side Kabwe Warriors has confirmed the acquisition of two new players.
Midfielder Mathews Tolopa and striker Godfrey Binga become the club’s first and second transfers of the January transfer window.
Tolopa has penned a two year deal from Konkola Blades.
“Kabwe Warriors Football Club is pleased to announce that it has completed a deal to sign Mathews Tolopa from Konkola Blades on a two-year deal.”
Tolopa is an attacking midfielder who was previously on the books of Indeni Football Club.
Meanwhile Binga has signed a 1-year deal with the Magnificent people’s team.
“Kabwe Warriors has completed a deal to sign Godfrey Binga, a striker from Lusaka Dynamos. Binga has been roped in to beef up the squad for the second round of the MTN Super League.”
The duo could make their debut this afternoon as Kabwe Warriors welcome 13 time record Champions, Nkana in a week 18 Super League encounter.
Warriors are currently 17th on the log with 16 points from 17 games.
