Kabwe Warriors edge FC MUZA to reach their first ABSA Cup final

Kabwe Warriors have reached their first ever ABSA Cup final following a 2-1 win over FC MUZA.

The magnificent People’s team went into the match on the back of a huge 5-0 win over Indeni Roses in the quarter finals.

Warriors started on a good note with an early goal, Godfrey Binga opening the scoring just three minutes into the match, heading in Simon Tonga’s cross to give Warriors the lead.

MUZA levelled matters in the 75th minute thanks to skipper Kelvin Mwanza with a sublime finish in the box to level matters.

Warriors however came back into the lead two minutes to time, Ocean Mushure sending Jairos Tembo the wrong way from the penalty spot.

Walya Nganga will meet either Nchanga Rangers or Red Arrows on 12 May, 2024 in the final.
