Justin Mwanza leaves Konkola Blades

Defender Justin Mwanza has left MTN Super League side Konkola Blades following the expiration of his contract, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

The right-back departs the Chililabombwe-based outfit after he and the club failed to reach an agreement over a contract renewal.

Mwanza spent two seasons at Konkola Stadium, having joined the Beston Chambeshi-coached side in August 2024.

During the 2025/26 season, the attacking full-back made 16 league appearances and registered four assists.

The former Lumwana Radiants defender is already attracting interest, with two MTN Super League clubs understood to have expressed a desire to secure his signature.

A member of Zambia’s victorious 2019 COSAFA U20 Championship squad, Mwanza is a product of the Young Nkana development system and earned promotion to the senior team of the 13-time Zambian champions in 2020.
