Zambian youngster Joseph ‘Sabobo’ Banda will next month officially join FC Zürich in Switzerland.
Banda who turns 18 on December 17th will officially put pen to paper and join the 13 time Swiss Super League Champions.
Banda is currently on a short term loan at Nkwazi from Atletico Lusaka until next month.
He opened his goalscoring account for the Zambia Police sponsored outfit by scoring his first MTN Super League goal on 8th November as Nkwazi ended FC MUZA’s 17 match unbeaten run.
The former Zambia U-17 National team captain was with Zurich for sometime impressing with the youth side in the FIFA Youth Cup.
Last year, Sabobo attended trials with Spanish side FC Barcelona for close to a month.
Sabobo scored 11 goals across three COSAFA U-17 Championships and was the top goalscorer with 15 goals in the 2020/2021 FAZ Lusaka Provincial Division One League.
It looked so far away but Boy its time to grab the opportunity with both hands.
