The Zambia Women’s National Team is back from Luanda where they overwhelmed Angola 6-0 in the final round, first leg of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier match.
The Zambia Air Force plane carrying the Copper Queens touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport in Ndola at 15h35 and were met on arrival by FAZ vice president Justin Mumba and Zambian Premier League chairperson Kephas Katongo.
The Copper Queens have shifted focus to Tuesday’s return leg set for Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola at 18h00.
