Former Zambia national team coach Honor Janza has been appointed head coach of Tanzanian side Namungo FC.
The club took to social media to confirm the appointment of the 61 year old gaffer.
Janza who takes over from Godfrey Okoko will be assisted by Jamhuri Kihwelo.
Janza was CEO at Eden University National Division One side, NAPSA Stars until May when he was put on administrative leave before parting ways.
The Napsa Job came just days after Janza part ways with Eswatini giants Mbabane Swallows barely a year after he joined Umkhonto Kashaka as head coach.
In 2014, when FAZ were struggling to pay Patrice Beaumulle, the Frenchman decided to leave and link up with Renard in France, Janza was given the mantle to take charge of the Chipolopolo.
Zambia qualified for the 2015 AFCON as Janza phased out the old guard including Chris Katongo.
Janza’s rebuilding process failed to take place thereafter as he was fired at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport by Kalusha Bwalya for a poor string of results.
In 2017 Janza was appointed Red Arrows head coach , A role he left in July 2018 after he was fired following a string of poor results.
Janza holds a Uefa ‘B’ coaching licence, a Confederation of African Football (CAF) ‘A’ licence and is an elite coach’s instructor for the continent’s governing body.
