Zambian international Jacob Mulenga yesterday hit a brace as he his team picked a point away against second placed Shanghai SIPG in a match which ended 2 – 2.
Mulenga who is enjoying good form in front of goal scored in the 8th and 83rd minute as Shijiazhuang Yongchang twice from behind in a difficulty a tough match for for the away team against a team chasing the title.
The Zambian international who snubbed a call to the national team in Zambia’s last international again completed 90 minutes.
He took his season tally to 12 goals and is currently in seventh position on the top scorers chart in China.
Keep banging in the goals and iam confident you will reach the twenty goal mark in the Chinese premier league this season if not exceeding it.

jacob (Kapembwa) was born in february, 1984….he was my junior at primary sku, i was classmates with his elder brother. The young man is an all rounder sports man, from motorcross (biker), swimming, vollyball and football….the recuuring ankle injury he gets is from a bike fall he had wen we were young in Kitwe….. he is 31 years old

I watched the two goals, even me can score those goals with ease. Luchanga and Sautu placed the ball beyond the reach of the goal keeper. The only beautiful goal Jacob scored was in a world cup qualifier at Estadio de la Levy with a bicyscle kick. In Niger it was a goal mouth scramble. Jacob only plays well for his club not country. Chisamba and Lubambo also play better at their club otherwise even for nation they shine but not better than their clubs.
I thnk we need to watch that league

we don’t need Jacob mulenga for any national team game, he does not honor his call ups any more. After all he has no position at the moment coz we have red hot strikers in kalengo & mbesuma. He only plays well at his club, when he called for the national team ma over ma over.
Jacob is th only striker who has represented us well abroad. No skill but He scores wherever he goes, he was top scorer for his clubs in france (Chateroux. In ligue 2), Holland , Turkey and now china. Discipline nd hard work is wat has made him to maintain hz goal scoring form. If players like fwayo n cliford whr as disciplined as jacob, thy would hv reached very far in thr football career.
It’s unfortunate that his injuries has somehow derailed his career but this guy is one of the best players Zambia has exported in recent times.
