Zambia’s CAF 2023 African Cup of Nations opponents Ivory Coast have announced their star studded squad.
The Copper Bullets face ‘Le Elephants’ on June 17, at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Skipper and Nottingham Forest defender Serge Aurier is joined in the squad by Eric Baily, a Manchester United defender who spent a season loan at Olympique Marseille.
Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie is also in the squad.
Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, Dortmund’s Sebastian Haller, and Nicholas Pepe are not in the squad.
Ivory Coast have already qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as hosts.
The Elephants manager Jean-Louis Gasset is using the qualifiers to prepare his squad for the tournament next year.
Ivory Coast are still unbeaten in Group H with 10 points with Zambia a point behind.
Comoros and Lesotho are on 3 points and 1 point respectively.
