It was a tough game, Lusaka Dynamos played well – Chiyangi

The Zambia MTN Super League on Wednesday afternoon entered week 3 with Choma-based outfit, Green Eagles FC hosting Lusaka Dynamos at Independence Stadium.

Despite both teams coming into the match eager to get maximum points the match however ended in a scoreless draw.

This was the second time in a row at home that Green Eagles have dropped points this season with the first match ending in a defeat to the in-form Buildcon FC, speaking to the ZamFoot Crew after the match, Eagles Coach, Aggrey Chiyangi admitted that it was a tough game for his team noting that Lusaka Dynamos was up for the challenge.

“We have not managed to win despite the efforts the players made, we couldn’t get the ball into the game, otherwise it was a tough game Lusaka Dynamos played well we just have to focus on the next game,” Chiyangi said.

The Eagles tactician also revealed to the media that his new acquisition Simon Mulenga is injured and currently in the treatment room because of a calf muscle tear that he sustained during the preseason.

Up next for Tonka Tweende is a military derby as the National service sponsored outfit will go head to head with the Zambia police sponsored outfit, Nkwazi football club in Lusaka on Saturday.
